Questions
Is BookZEN free?
Yes, to start. The shelf, timer, reading log, goals, streaks, reminders and widgets are free for up to five books, and your wishlist never counts towards the five. BookZEN Pro removes the limit.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no sign-in and no social feed. Open the app and start your shelf.
Paper books, ebooks or audiobooks?
All three. Log every book, however you read it. With Pro, your own EPUB ebooks and audiobooks stand on your shelf and open in the app, a book can be read aloud, and free classics are a tap away.
Can I bring my Goodreads library?
Yes. Your whole Goodreads library can come with you, as part of BookZEN Pro.
Does it work on iPhone, iPad and Android?
Yes: iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later, and Android 8 or later.
Which languages does it speak?
Twelve: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and Dutch.
Where is my data?
Your library, notes and reading log are kept on your phone, not on our servers. You can save a backup and open it on a new phone. The privacy policy says exactly what leaves the phone.
Can I cancel?
Any time. Weekly and yearly plans are managed in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions; Pro stays until the period you paid for ends. Lifetime is a single purchase and never renews.
